There is so much to do on the island: Pop over to Jones Beach in Wantagh for a typical beach day or to see a concert at the waterfront amphitheater (the best place to see a concert, in my opinion!). Stroll through, enjoy lunch and shop local in quaint local villages like Northport and Cold Spring Harbor. The Paramount in nearby Huntington is another awesome venue to see a concert or take in a comedy show! Hockey fan? An Islanders game is always a fun time! Eat fresh seafood at Freeport’s Nautical Mile. Like to shop? Check out the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City or the Americana Manhasset. If being in nature is your thing there are so many parks and hiking trails a favorite being Caumsett Park in Lloyd Neck or Makamah in Fort Salonga. There is so much to do within a short drive no matter what your interests or where you are on the island!
